My style reflects the simplicity of documenting moments in the most raw form possible with a hint of nostalgia inspired by the root of my art, film. I believe in embracing the unexpected moments - if it starts to rain on location, let’s dance the rain away and make the most out of our time together. Let's Connect

From a young age, I was drawn to every type of camera I could get my hands on. I knew I was destined to create images and was always passionate about storytelling through still & motion images, which led me to film school. It was then when I realized my true passion for photography. I moved to New York City right after college to jump start my career in film & television production, where my dreams started becoming a reality.

NYC was my dream come true - I had the opportunity to run the daily operations of multiple studios, shoot photography, & work behind the scenes to bring various forms of content to life for some of the top brands in the industry (iTV, Refinery29, Condé Nast, Equinox+, & various independent projects to name a few). After a decade of living this dream I decided it was time to pursue my creative passions in photography full time.

I am so grateful for the opportunities and growth I experienced over the last decade that brought me to this point in my career. Time after time I realized my heart has always brought me back to photography. As I reached a crossroads in my career I knew it was time to launch my photography business full time and that's when Shutterbug Pictures LLC was formed!

FAQs

  • I started shooting photography professionally in 2011 and in 2021 I launched my independent photography business. I have previously shot portrait photography for brands such as Universal, NBC, Refinery29, and more.

  • I am currently in the Blue Ridge Mountains and am able to work local to parts of GA, WNC, NY, & SC, which allows me to waive certain travel fees for my clients in those areas. I will soon be releasing location specific packages.

    I am always ready & willing to travel wherever your story leads so consider my bags packed & ready to go!

  • For my destination packages I have already included travel fees in the package. However, if applicable, mileage fees are typically factored in during the planning phase as it’s based on the specifics of your session. Mileage is based off the standard IRS mileage rates.

    For destination packages requiring travel, I always go with the most cost effective options to ensure there are no additional fees. When I am able to I waive certain fees based on location and the resources I have available.

    • I’ll be in touch as promptly as possible to provide you with a detailed pricing guide so you can customized your package.

    • From there you’ll receive a customized quote.

    • Once you’re ready to confirm I’ll send over a contract and you’ll pay the retainer fee and then we’ll be locked in!

  • This depends on how long the session/event is - I typically provide 50-80 photos per hour. You will only receive edited image, no raw files.

  • I do my best to provide sneak peeks within 24-48hrs. Portrait sessions are typically a 2-3week turn around and elopements are 4-8 weeks depending on the season!

  • Yes! Your gallery will include a print shop where you can purchase prints directly!

    I also have a travel print shop linked on this site should you be interested in purchasing a Shutterbug original for your home!

    • 50% is due upon booking and the remainder will be due within 24hrs of your session start time.

    • There are ways we can potentially trim packages down so please do not hesitate to ask about additional payment terms etc should we need to make your ideal package fit better within your budget.
